Just recently – late April, our popular mid-range houseboat Paradise II had a full kitchen and bathroom vanity re-fit. With it up to date, modern and looking good as new, it’s time to book a family houseboat holiday on board Paradise II with us at Coomera Houseboat Holidays.

The spacious new kitchen features a deluxe stone bench top, oven and stove, microwave, new vinyl flooring and self-closing cupboards. Paradise II is licenced to carry up to 10 passengers, she features 3 bedrooms, two rooms with double beds and the third with 2 single beds (bunk bed). In the lounge room behind the red leather couch you will find a double trundle bed and another double mattress on board to sleep the total 10.

The semi enclosed upper helm area is a great place to kick back, relax and enjoy a barbeque amongst friends or family, or both! With a drink in one hand and a book in the other, watch as the sun sets over the Gold Coasts beautiful Broadwater with the delicious smell in the air of fresh seafood caught from that day cooking. Paradise II isn’t the only boat that has under gone a change, our great 12 berth houseboat Osprey has just had a fabulous kitchen make over, with a brand new kitchen, dining table, and lounge room plus and the bathroom vanity. PRICES SET TO RISE JULY 1ST THIS YEAR

Coomera Houseboat Holidays Managing Director Mike Smith today announced that prices across the Coomera Fleet would rise on July 1 this year.

Mr Smith said, “This is the first ‘across the board‘ price rise for the company since the GFC struck us in 2010″. He said that, “It had been a difficult time for the company trying to hold prices for our customers while so many of the company’s expenses had been climbing.”

He said, “Houseboat maintenance was a very expensive, but if Coomera Houseboats were to continue their commitment and tradition of having the most seaworthy, safest and best presented houseboats on the water, then unfortunately this price rise is inevitable.”

Mr Smith urged those thinking of going houseboating in the near future to, “Book before the July 1 increase and lock in a great deal”. He added that, “Even with the upcoming price increase, houseboating was still one of the most affordable and rewarding holidaying experiences anywhere in the world.”
